Sun* and Sony Network Communications establish NFT operating company in Singapore

Sun* Inc. (Representative Director: Taihei Kobayashi / Headquarters location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter, “Sun*”) and Sony Network Communications Inc. (President: Jun Watanabe / Headquarters location: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter “Sony Network Communications”) have established “Sony Network Communications Singapore Pte. Ltd.” (hereinafter, “the new company”) in Singapore, which will engage in the development and/or operation (commission based) business and consulting business related to NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens).

The NFT market has expanded rapidly in recent years, and is expected to become even more widespread in the future. As unique digital data, NFTs are contributing to the creation and utilization of new businesses in various industries such as games, art, sports, music, and real estate.
